The Council of Elder Gods
Well many do not count evil deities such as Blackhand and Norg when speaking of the Elder Gods this isn’t true. The Elder Gods encompass a wide range of deities. The separation from the Outer Gods and Great Old Ones from the Elder Gods is most obvious. Not only to the Outer Gods and Great Old Ones require no worshipers to maintain divine status. Having worshipers does not increase there divine status. (but does much to increase their influence. The Elder Gods are concerned with the current well being of Terra Nara. While the great old ones or the outer gods either don’t care or would wish to twist the world into something uninhabitable for human or demi-human creatures.
As of yet only two known deities have been expelled from the Council of Elder Gods,
Vecna, Garthos (no dead). It is unknown Corellon Larethian remained a member of the Council of Elder Gods after the elves left for Avalon. A few demon princes in Terra Nara’s history have managed to achieve divine status. They have been denied entry to the Elder Gods.
