this Calander is refered to as the Meadisris Calander.
beacuse it was made by a mage called Meadisris. with the many different cultures in the world of nightkord, they all had different calanders that were not the correct number of days for the planet fo go in its full orbit around the sun. so Meadisris found out how long it took for the world to compleat a full soalr year and made a calander around it.
the thing is it was so long ago that no one truly knows what race Meadisris was. so many different races claim Meadisris as one of there own. modern minds think that to get the calander spread around, he would have to appear as slightly mysterious, so get various cultures to use the calander.
others say that Meadisris jsut had servents of many different races claim to be him, and it was this way that the calander was spread around.
regaurdless of how it happened, and regaurdless of how it was made. it has taken hold in many places in nightkord. The last place to compleatly switch over the the Meadisris calander was leweke. apperently meadisris had not gotten to leweke....
