The order of the north is based in a large Monistary located somewhere in the wilderness of northern Nicos.
the order however has many other such monistarys scattered around nightkord
The goal of the Order is simpally to stand agasints evil and chaos, and to bring the peaceful order of good to all beings.
the members of the order can be anyone who is not evil, but the majorty of the memebrs worship the deities Lambal, Kerlien, Wyntic, or Fersone.
The order stresses the everlasting fight agasints evil, and as such have a large number of adventurers working for them to further there cause. The members of the order are very large spread over all of nightkord. while each order may be different all orders stick to the base rules of the order, which are many books long.
some of the main things the order stresses in the fight agasints evil are
knowladge of the enemy.
for them it is important to know who they are fighting, there reasons, and how best to defeat them. the order does not look kindly on retreating from a battle. in there logic, they would never enter a battle unless they knew they would win. so retreating from a battle means that someone somewhere messed up. many times before going into a battle a member of the order will have 3 plans, a main one and a congency plan, and a plan incase everything goes wrong. Nonetheless sometimes bad things to happen, and people get killed. but the order brings its members back to life at far cheaper then other places would.
strength
to fight evil the best one has to be strong enough to defeat it. to make sure to have enough numbers to handle what the enemy will throw at the is very important to the order. many times they have interveined in wars with enough forces to crush both sides if the needed too. the order does intervein in the business of many other countires and if it deams a side in the battle to be on the side of good. that side will be helped with forces from the order.
Peace
one of the main parts to the orders plan are maintaing peace in the lands and makeing sure they dont fall ot evil. so in thise since the order is much like a police force, upholding laws and protecting the population.
the order is organized in smaller groups each with a leader asnwering to the main monsitary in nothern nicos. in the main monistary the plans for the order are laid out by various leading members of the order. no sinlge person is in charge of the order of the North.
