Gael is a far east penninslia that connects to Illeve.
Gael is an intresting place
Gael's Faith is that of the Than Phanthon. among other the than phantheon includes Dadre the deity of Fear, Vangel the deity of Destruction, Miemold the deity of turture, and blackhand the deity of trynanny.
the phantheon goes somewhat like this, a ton of bad, and very little good.
Anyhow how gael fits into this, is Gael is hell on earth.
the history of gael goes somewhat like this.
there were 2 kingdoms, both were very happy and so forth, untill a demon worshiper came into power and, decided he wanted all the land of gael to himself. so he started raiseing an army, and attacked. the defending kingdom struck back. the war was on. it lasted for like 37 years. untill both sides whiper eachother out.
they both summed creatures from the planes such as demons, and devils. and they both emploied powerful war magic. the area could not take the continual warfare. and eventually it all fell to chaos. this was the time when things got bad.
powerful magic from a still unknown sorce surged around gael opening 4 volcanos in the earth, and killing many. and the holy Illevein empire built a wall were gael connects to there land, and locked gael into itself.
since then gael has been a place on continual battle, varous forces always battle for supermancy, while demons and devilish armys roam the landscape. evil gods ( such as blackhand and vangel ) have there own forces there as well seaking to make gael that own personal empires. all the while the forces of holy Illeve circel the panninslia killing anything that tries to escape.
every so often heros form the outside gather a force large enough ( or so they think ) to take controll of gael. so they get permission from holy Illeve and send there force in. some even last, but never any win and none from such a force have ever returned.
there is a race native to Gael, called the Krulis ( im still working on them ) the race was a part of various other gaelian races that were present before the empire fell. of those races the Krulis are the only that survive, beacuse they revil in the war.
various forces at work currently in Gael are
Orcs
they are everywhere, and anywhere. they are on both sides of every battle.
Forces of Blackhand
they have taken the area around the volocano called Hell's Fire. there tend to be many hobgoblins with the forces of blackhand. so far they have held on to it with reasonable ease, but they havent gotten any real challange to it as of yet, that could change....
Forces of Vangel
they have taken up the land around fury's heart volcano. they revel only in destruction along and chaos. they have been known to abondon an area, to attack and take another.
Forces of Calmare.
the empire of calmare has taken the unwise chioce to attempt to claim the land as there own. on there own turf and near there own empire, they are nigh unbeatable. but this isnt there own land, and there no where near there empire and they have to deal with the forces of vangel.
there are many other forces at work in Gael, such as Gretti, undead, demons, and a Human warlord named Russ.
