Nightkord is a land thats most obvious feature is an impossiblely high tower made of black metal that is unbreakalbe, save for one dead empire that did it.
this tower is called the Tower Nightkord, it is so high that it can be seen from almost everywhere on the continent Nightkord.
keep in mind that Nightkord is jsut the name of a single continent in the world. the worlds name is A'arda.
much like fearun is a continent in the world Toril.
The Tower Nightkord, is only called a tower, beacuse no better name for it exists. in truth the base of the tower is larger then most cities. and it is so tall it goes well into the clouds.
no one knwos why the tower Nightkord is there.
more mystreies souround the tower nightkord, there are gigantic walls that are strewn around the surface, and underdark of nightkord, they are made out of the material that nightkord is made of. do these things have anything to do with the tower nightkord? no one knows.
many people have tried getting into the tower nightkord. the tower dosent have anything strange about it, and magical properties work jsut fine around it. yet when someone tries to get inside it, the magic fails. when ever someone tries to use normal ways to get into it, it fails. so magic works jsut fine around it, unless you try to use magic to get inside, then magic fails around it. and the enviorment is just fine around it, unless your trying to get inside it, in which case soemthing happens to stop you.
it is like the plane itself does not want you inside the tower Nightkord.
not to mention the fact that there really isnt an openiong anywhere for which to get inside.
it is said in the prophecy of nightkord, that when the world ends the army of darkness will issue forth from the tower of nightkord. no one knows if this is true, but the tayori empire at least proved the first part of the propecy of nightkord is correct, so it might have some merit to it.
