Faithless Knight
The Faithless knights protect the city of Aren and work to prevent another faith war. They don’t worship any gods, and in fact some of the faithless knights despise gods, seeing them as powerful slave masters, and there worshipers as lackies. Others in the Faithless knights belive that the gods are not the true “Faith” and work on converting the masses to there cause. Not all the faithless knights hate gods, but none of the faithless knights worship them. The faithless knights say that they have discovered a way to tap in to a greater force of divine magic, and that is where they get there divine spells from. Divine spell casters of other faiths say that the faithless knights steal spells.
Long ago the faithless knights were charged by the most powerful kingdoms of the time to protect the city aren and to stop faith wars, this was a job they have done perfectly. Even those that don’t like the faithless knights admit that they have done there job well.
Fighters are the most likely class to become a faithless knights, but ex-clerics and ex-paladins are known to join the ranks of the faithless.
