"Silver's Blessing"
Conjuration [Healing]
Level: Brd 4
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: 1 silver piece/level
Duration: 1 minute/level (D)
Saving Throw: Will half (harmless); see text
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless); see text
"You grab a handfull of silver pieces out of your purse. As you hold them in your hand and mutter a few words they begin to glow with a pale silvery light. You quickly press them to your allies side and watch as they begin to heal her wounds."
-You charge silver pieces with positive energy. You can only charge upto 1 silver piece/level in this way. When the coin is touched to a creature the coin releases the energy in one of two ways, consuming the coin in the process. If heads is placed against the creature it heals 1d6 points of damage. If tails is placed against a creature it instead heals 1 point of damage to any one ability score. Using this as a touch provokes an attack of opportunity, but you can choose which side affects the creature touched.
-These coins can be used to heal creatures at a distance. Treat the embued coin as a shuriken that you are proficient in (this spell does not grant you actual proficiency) but deals no actual damage. When used this way you must succeed on a ranged touch attack to heal your ally. If successful, you must flip a coin. The result of the coin toss is the side that will affect your ally (either heads of tails).
-Since Undead are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of healing them. Like above, using this as melee touch attack provokes an attack of opportunity (but you still get to choose which side hits the Undead). You can throw them as a ranged touch attack instead (see above). Irregardless of the way it is hit, the Undead may aply spell resistance, if any, to the attack. If heads strikes the Undead, hit can make a Will save to half the damage. If tails strikes the Undead, it can make a Will save to negate a -1 strength penalty (multiple penalties stack, but only with coins cast from this spell).
Arcane Material Componant: Upto 1 silver piece/level
