I finally figured it out. What Kelthrain has been doing to Robert this whole time. At first I thought he had been torturing Robert, but I realized that that wasn't what was really happening.

Noticed the edit. Inconvenient for Robert but a convenient guinea pig for Kelthrain. Or did you have a different conclusion.

No I was hoping that editing would make somebody bite. I had a funny conversation I wanted to play out, that will lead to a very amusing result.

You see everything Kelthrain has done to Robert uptil now has merely been an inconvenience to Robert, not anything actual cruel or tortuous.

Well looks like no one else is going to pick up my lead, I guess I'll just half to go it alone.

[Master Spellblade]: Like I said, inconvenient.

I mean think about it. What's over 500,000 gold pieces truly mean to a 40,00 (41,000 but that 1,000 doesn't count) year old epic litch who uses the wish spell for a cup of tea?

An inconvenience, that's what it means.

[Master Spellblade]: So Kelthrain has been responding in kind; baleful polymorphs that don't run the risk of destroying Robert's mind, Anti-Magic fields, a Heal followed by several Harms(which can't kill you), replacing Robert's spleen with a device that invokes a permanent Symbol of Pain, blowing up his head. All of those things are mere inconveniences to Robert.

In fact Robert recognizes them for what they really are.
