The being before is composed entirely of pulsing and iridescent spheres and strange horrible shapes blurring and merging with each other only to separate again Spheres move as if controlled by a single malevolent intelligence. They are simple shapes yet stupendous in there malign suggestiveness.
Combat: the Yog swarm moves to a space where it can get the most enemies in its space by the end of its turn. Then the Enemies are affected by its Swarm damage, Insanity Ability, and finally by its Planeshift ability. So the end result is that any opponent will be damaged, insane and on another plane where the Yog Swarm can devour it at its leisure.
Distraction (Ex): Any living creature that begins its turn with The Yog Swarm in its square must succeed on a DC 17 Fortitude save or be nauseated for 1 round. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Spell-like abilities: the Yog Swarm can cast Greater Plane shift and Teleport on itself at will.
Swarm Damage: A Yog swarm deals 5d6 points of damage and 1d4 points of Wisdom damage to any creature whose space it occupies at the end of its move.
Plane shift (Ex): Any Creature whose space the Yog Swarm occupies at the end of its move is affected by the Plane shift spell. Cast by a 20th level Sorcerer (DC 31).
Insanity (Ex): Any Creature whose space the Yog Swarm occupies at the end of its move is affected by the Insanity spell. Cast by a 20th level Sorcerer (DC 31)
Shielded Mind (Ex): Attempts by creatures of other races to communicate telepathically with a Yog Swarm, or to read its mind always fail. A creature making such an attempt must succedd at a will save (DC 31) or be affected as if by an Insanity spell (caster level equals Yog Swarm’s effective sorcerer level) for 1d6 days. This effect can be dispelled or removed with a heal effect.
Yog Swarm Movement (Helpful Information)
In order to attack, a Yog Swarm moves into opponents’ spaces,
which provokes an attack of opportunity. It can occupy the same space as a creature of any size, since it surrounds its prey, but remains a creature with a 40-foot space. Yog Swarms never make attacks of opportunity, but they can provoke attacks of opportunity. Unlike other creatures with a 40-foot space, a Yog Swarm is shapeable. Unlike other swarms the Yog Swarm does not need to remain contiguous. It can occupy any squares, and it can squeeze through any space large enough to contain one of its component creatures (for example, a bat swarm can squeeze through a space that a Tiny creature could squeeze through).
