Well as everyone was mildly aware nightkord is a odd place. there is a little of a multi-demensional aspect to it. (shown in the fact that Joles twin brother, was not his twin at all but a "version" of him from an alternate timeline)
i have decided to form another version of nightkord. (unrelated to the version of nightkord joles twin came from) This version's name is Charaster's Age. if differes significantly from the original version (the one everyone's characters are in)
here is a quick overview (ill fill in more intresting details later)
Charaster a very powerful user of magic and possibly psionics gets strong enough to elude to Unkillable Turmist and enter the Temple of Origin. where (in this version) the tools needed to remake the universe are held. Charaster tries to use them, but there power drives him mad, and elevates him to above greater deity power. (at the same time, bad mix)
thus in his insanity he decides to end the world. In nightkord there is a "hands off" over deity called the Traveler, now when charaster gets this power and loses his mind the gods attempt to stop him. Charaster kills them all, and assumes all their power for himself. At this point the overdiety should step in and put a stop to this, but he dosent. as it turns out the over deity either left, or died at some point.
thus now without anyone to challange him (or save him) he assumes with destorying the world. which he largely dose. he starts ripping up the land and opening fissures in the earth, topples (and throws) the Tower of Nightkord, knocks the Prime Material plane out of alignment, turns about half of the world into molten slag, kills (in an instart) around 80% of all living things on the world. among other fun things.
Eventually the insanity ebbed enough for what remained of charaster's sane mind to rebel and he cast off the vast majority of his power. then in horror he beheld what he had done. time passed and eventually he decided that he would use what little of his power remained to attempt to fix the world.
thus Nightkord in Charaster's Age is a wreck, with all the deities dead (with the expection of charaster who dose all the jobs of the deities in an offhanded way) the landscape is entirely different and basically it is unrelated to 'Original" Nightkord in almost all ways.
i tell you this beacuse in any future champign there maybe some intraction with Charaster's Nightkord. (and possibly the original nightkord at the same time) and explaining it like this will save time for everyone involved.
