the shugenja uses one of four schools in the compleat divine, as you all know. in orential adv each clan has its own school, that specializes in a type of magic, i have decided to use the schools for clans like it is in the oriential adventures.
i will still have the four base schools in lich taiho, so you will see those as well, but each clan will have its own shugenja school too.
also looking at the samurai i have decided that he should be able to have access to upper level fighter feats on the fighter only list. such as greater wep spez and the like.
basically at level 20 the fighter will have 18 feats (11 class, 7 character) the samurai has 14 (7 character, 7 class) plus the samurai can only pick his feats from a short list of feats, whereas the fighter has a huge selection of feats.
the samurai does get the ancestial daisho and a good will save. but that can only go so far.
basically the fighter and the samurai can do the same thing, but the fighter can do it better. even i give the samurai the fighter only feats.

The Samurai daisho is a katana and a waksashi. The Wakasashi is a martial weapon and the Katana only counts as exotic in one hand. Otherwise its a two-handed martial weapon. As katana's are treated as mw bastad swords. Which is why they weren't given it in the first place.
