The Arcitch kingdom was one of the most promonint kingdoms to solidfy itself after the coming of the curse.
Artich is built on a structure of powerful arcane magic, each king that asended to the thrown was always a powerful wizard.
Arcitch's economy bases itself on trading of magic items and the mass production of cheap, reliable airships as well as its profient system of tranporting gold and objects.
The backbone of the Arcitch economy is its unique transportation system. within each arcitch city is a banking building that connects it with other cities threw a series of ring gates.
Each building has two ring gate: an exist and an entrance. each of these ringgates is connected to a central filing center within the well protected walls of arcitch capital city.
This system was built not long after the coming of the curse when each of the kingdoms cities was raised into the air. The current ruler; a queen who turned herself into a lich ordered this massive system to be created so the economy could sustain itself despite the absense of land. This women was considered to be an incredible geneis but also completly insane as most lichs are, she went on to die nearly a century later after coming to the decision to fully embrace death.
Each ring has two built in flaws: it cannot transport organic matter, anything living attempting to pass threw is desintagrated, this was meant to detear would-be theivs, although the reminent eqiupment of smaller theives who did not heed the warning have been known to show up at the central filing center from time to time.
The other flaw is that if the rings are not in use an object can be place within the exist ring to prevent any objects from passing through. This was built to assure enemies could not commondear a ring and send explosives through to the other side.
Arcitch is currently a major supporter of the Odon against their war with Daidom because their boarder is closes to the wars and they would be the first to be attacked.
Arcitch is the largest producer of airships in the sothern region on Amael.
Sveral of acritch cities communities work on the mass production of airships and their most southern city of garnious has dedicated most of their population towards airship construction.
Currently Arcitch has a major contract with the Odon empire for airship production who is a large buyer of their military grade ships, one out of three Odon airships are made in Arcitch.
Arcitch Lich Lords: In the past several kings and queens have embraced undeath by becoming a lich. Since the first queen, Lada, laws have been imposed to prevent a disruption in their customs. Inorder for a lord to become a lich they must have at least three living heirs and an agrement to not delve into the true deeps of insanity that usually follows lichhood. a Lich Lord must also agree to rule the kingdom for only a century after they become a lich, then they must surrender their rule to the next in line.
Suprisingly, few lich lords have ever been evil (Lada herself was L/N) however the Odon have made it clear they will not ally with a kingdom ruled by a lich, evil or not.
