Capital: Odonalic Population: 74,400 (50% Odon ,32% human, 8% Dwarf, 3% Elven, 3% Gnome 4% other) Religions: whatever the good and nuetral god are Imports: Armor, Weapons, Airships, magical items, food. Exports: Minerals, jewerly, art, textiles.
When the Odon kingdom (once known as Kalerac) was attacked by overwhelming forces known as Daidom the Odon were forced to leave. The Odon's most elite mages used incredible powerful magic to release the invisible anchor on many of their floating cities and propel them to safety. Since then the Odon use the same magic to keep their kingdom moble to evade Daidoms powerful fleet. In the century that has passed several of the Odon cities have been converted into giant floating military installations used as command centers and even brought into the center of battles. Out of the original 12 floating cities that fled from Daidom only 9 remain. The non-military cites are: Odonalic, Cambridge, Ethran. These cities are currently harbored in safe airspace near Arcitch, an allied kingdom. The military cities are: Bloodenburg, Griffonclaw, The Ivory Den
Bloodenburg, is currently battling North of occupied Kalerac along with the majority of their airship fleet as well as their allied fleet. The others are patroling the empty airspace between Kalerac and Arcitch, but all battle cities can be moblized at anytime.
The Ruins of Andreon: During the beginning of the Dai-Odon war a single city stayed behind to protect the way of the surving cities. The city fought for over one hundred days valiantly against Daidom until it was destroyed. When the battle began the city restablished its anchor so it could not be captured and used by its enemy. What remains of the city today are broken, scattered islands of its former self, most islands still have standing buildings from the dead city. while the original population was desimated in the battle but refugees and rogues from other seiged cities have taken up residents in the ruins to create a shanty town on the shattered city. The Odon are against the squaters encrouching on their ancient city but have yet to make any action to remove them.

i love how there is a shanty town, floating in the sky.
are you sure you want daidom to be so large? its quite an organization that can make an empire flee in fright. at that point they would sease to be an empire and be a nation.

OK lets get this finished:
Places of interest
Odonalic; (Metropolic 23,230) The bustling capital of the Odon Empire is the place to go for any merchant looking to trade with the Odon. Despite the war Odolic is a very peaceful place. Kept far away from the war Odonalic is meant as a place of peace for merchants looking to trade and warriors on leave. The Leader Zayion (L/G Odon Male 20 lvl paladin 6 level cleric) is a stern but fair man who makes sure his city is clean and safe. When he is not in war time meetings he is with his people.
Cambridge (Large city 12,500) Cambride is the second largest trading port in the Odon Empire. Canbridge is the main trading route between The Odon Empire and Arcitch. This city is also the cheif city of art within in kingdom and is known for its unusual, yet wonderful artwork that covers the city and makes up the architect. The City is named after Rothan Cambridge, a Odon that opened up trade between the Odon and arcitch after many years of distrust.
Ethran (Small city 7,500) Ethran is not so much a city but rather a grouping of farming communities. Ethran is one of the larger islands in the Odon empire but consists mostly of farm land that helps feed the rest of the empire. because this city is so important several small military instalations have been placed around the island that serve as its own personal guard. Most of the Ethran farmers are human and dwarfs, many coming from other lands to make a profit during this time of war and have since settled in as part of the empire. Some humans however are claming that they underapreated and discrimated against the Odon and some have suggested breaking away from the rest of the empire. The Odon have discovered several small insirgent plots but so far have yet to discover anything major.
Falinaxe: large city (11,370) Falinaxe is the chef city of industry for the Odon empire and produces nearly all of the Odon's weapons, armor and airships used for the war. The Falinaxe people are a hardy group and have fought alongside the Odon warriors during the occational Daidom raids. Falinaxe also has a large wizard population, these wizards came to Falinaxe on commission to help the war effort, it is difficult to find a wizard that doesnt specialize in Evocation or enchanment however.

Bloodenburg (Small city 5,400)
Bloodenburg looks like the ruined remains of its former self. Underneither the ruins above is a massive complex full of ship ports and barraks. Bloodenburgs is not the actual name of the city. Its true name is Allenburg, its name become Bloodenburg after its first battle against Daidom while protecting the other cities in the fleet. The battle raged for many days on as a near endless amount of humanoids fought the cornered Odon. The battle was won when every Odon prayed to their patron diety Din who, after hearing such a powerful prayer, sent several solar to destroy the Daidom fleet that lored over the city. After the battle the city was literally covered from every wall with the blood of allies and enemies alike, this earned the cities name Bloodenburg. Bloodenburg is currently spear heading the assualt to reclaim Kalerac from Daidom and is the port for the 140 ships of the southern fleet. The General of Bloodenburg is Ocalen (Male Odon, L/G, 9 lvl paladin 6 lvl fighter), a tough old Odon who has been fighting the war his entire life.
Griffonclaw (Large town 3,950)
Griffonclaw got its name from its population of griffons breed for battle. Griffonclaw is the smallest of the three war-cities and also has the largest population of non-Odon in the entire fleet. the race that dominates the city are dwarfs from a several clans that are renouned for training wild animals. These clans came to help the war effort not long after their ansestrail homes were destroyed by Daidom during an attack many years ago. Griffonclaw is famous for its griffon warriors that have taken place is all major battles and have been known to turn the tides in several battles. Griffonclaw is similair to Bloodenburg in that the actually city is kept below in a large complex while the above ground city is kept mostly abandoned. What makes Griffonclaw diffrent is that underneith the city are many perchs and open areas for the animals to move about freely. These areas are usually closed off during times of battle, however some feel its unnessessary because any enemy trying to enter from these entrances often find themselves coming face to face with a family of griffons, or another creature breed by the dwarfs. Griffonclaw is also known for its other breeds of war animals breed. Rumors have it that the dwarfs and the Odon are working together to breed a new creature created threw magic to help turn the tides of the war, this rumor has been offically denied by the Odon goverment. The leader of Griffonclaw is Salyin (Odon female lvl 9 paladin) a younger women with an eye missing from an attack by a frightened griffon when she was a child. despite the accedent she harbors no ill will towards these crearures and actually takes part in training war mounts for her fellow warrior. Griffonclaw protects the border of the rest of the empire and is the port to the northern fleet.
Iron Den (large town 4,120)
Iron Den is known soly for its soldiers completly insanity in combat. Iron den earned its reputation from a battle against an overwhelming force of enemies. As the story goes Daidom had sent a large fleet of airships being headed by a battle ship many times larger then anything Daidom had ever made. Instead of running from the enemy fleet Iron Den charged into battle firing its weapons blindly at everyship within range. Iron Den won the battle by charging and ramming many of the Daidom airships including its massive battleship. To this day the battleship remains at the front of the city as a warning for any Daidom. Iron den is unlike Bloodenburg and Griffonclaw Iron Den's complex is above ground in many iron bunkers and is also the only military structure that uses smoke powder cannons. The leader of Iron Den is General Diamak (Odon male lvl 12 paladin) an entrible eccentric warrior even by Odon standards. Iron Den is home to the eastern fleet thats patrols the expanse between Kalerac and Arcitch.
Windkeep and the protectorate sector:
West of the Dai-Odon was is a montainous area that contains many unified mining towns. Unfortunetly Daidom has discovered this area and is away that they have little to no defence against an airship invasion. The Odon realize that Daidom could enslave the population and mine the minerals to increase the size of their fleet. In response The Odon have sent a small fleet made up of military and privateer forces to protect the villages that live there. Because the Odon expect no payment from these people this fleet has been known as the "Odon Charity fleet" The head of the fleet is a floating castle called Windkeep that acts as a figure head and a home base for the fleet.
