this past weekend i was at CONvergence con
it was pretty kickass
this was the first time i attended
i've been to Anime Detour twice
these are the only cons i have been to
maybe this can be a con thread

If I had to guess, it's probably a convention for comicbooks and manga, or anime and D&D.

Anyways, what kanda exibits did they have there? ANd pleas tell me if you saw any Trekies. I love mocking Trekies.

there was a science exhibit , silent auction, and an art exhibit, but that was it i think
the rest was discussion panels, video rooms, and fan room theme parties
there was also a couple dances, and masquerade performances
and a dealers room
as for trekkies you couldnt go an hour without seeing one
i'd say at least a third were klingons

ive always hated vlucans personally, ive always been more of a klingon man
i have however never been to any con at all! i dont know if that puts me up there on the good choice scale or if im missing out.
perhaps i will have to cheak one out....
sci fi con sounds preatty cool however, anime and DnD cons sound scary.
