this is a feat out of the players handbook 2 on page 83, right colum second feat from the top.
steadfast Determination prereg: Endurance Benefit: you use your con mod, instead of wis mod for will saves. you dont auto fail fort saves on a roll of natural one.
really this is an acctual feat, its sickly powerful. if you dont understand how sickly powerful it is i will tell you.
fighter characters generally have a bad will save, plus the melee fighter gets (almost) nothing from boosting up his wisdom score for will saves. but the fighter gets a TON from boosting up his con, like hit points, which mean takeing hits in battle and lasting longer. with barbs it means more rageing. so the melee fighter already gets a lot from his con score.
naturally soem melee classes do benefit a lot from a high will, the majority dont.
But when a melee fighter takes this feat, now two of his saves go off one ability, and that one ability is one that should really be high anyhow. so now the melee fighter can jsut pour everything into his con, and it will help with his best save, and his worst save, and saves are a large part of the game.

Of course you're forgetting the ability to not critically fail a Fort save. That means for things with set fort saves like low level poison traps, the Melee fighter with an insane Con csore can just ignore all but the most powerful of Fort saves.
