From reading the infernals "Learned Spell Immunity" I'm fairly sure that it would not apply to spells that are not subject to SR. As spell immunity doesn't apply to spells not subject to SR.

that makes the infernals a little more beatable, since some of the most powerful spells have no spell resistance. but that still puts them as imune to a TON of spells, it just meaks that casters are going to have to be careful when prepairing spells more then twice in an infernal encounter.

Well unless Joel plays that druid I'll be the only real spellcaster.
I believe on of the warlock invocations makes the blast supernatural instead of spell-like.

there is at least 1 essence invocation that does not invoke SR. THough I am not sure if it will be of much use. it makes all the damge Acid

Theoreticaly I could just blast him with the acid blast since Spell Immunity does not apply if it is not subject to SR
