Weapon enchantments

here i found these laying around the internet, i thought i would show them to yall.
cus some of them are kinda neat.


Diamond-Edge

This enhancement enables may only be applied to slashing and piercing weapons. A weapon enchanted with this ability has the ability to cut through natural armor much more effectively than other weapons. When determining the success of an attack roll, a diamond-edged weapon has an effective enhancement bonus four higher than normal, but only to determine if an attack succeeds or fails, the added enhancement does not increase the damage dealt. So a diamond-edged longsword+1 is effectively a +5 weapon when determining the success of an attack roll. This enhancement can be added to keen weapons, but not vorpal.
Moderate Abjuration; CL13th; Crafe Magic Arms and Armor, Antilife Shell; Price +3 bonus.

Diamond Razor

This epic enhancement bonus may only be applied to slashing or piercing weapons. A diamon razor weapon ignores all natural armor bonuses, cutting through the thickest of hides as if they were paper. The diamond razor enchantment may not be added to vorpal weapons
Strong Abjuration; CL 25th; Craft Arms and Armor, Craft Epic Arms and Armor, Antilife Shell ; Price: +8


Deep Cutting

This ability increases the critical multiplier by one. For example, if it was place on a long sword, which normally has a critical multiplier of x2, a deep cutting long sword would have a critical multiplier of x3. This ability may only be placed on piercing and slashing weapons.
Moderate transmutation; CL 13th; Craft Magical Arms and Armor; Mordenkain’s sword; Price +3

Diamond Razor I would never allow!!!! It would be the ultimate dragon slaying sword, or the tarrasque or a druid with epic bark skin....

The other's however are really nice, might want Diamond-Edge to be a +4 enchant ment though.

Mind Blanking: asl ong as the weapon is held the user is effected as per a mind blank spell. Moderate Abjuration CL 12/ Craft Magic Arms and Armor/Mind Blank/Price +2 Bonus.

i do like that one, but i dont know if its worthy of a +1,but maybe i would. i just noticed the rings of mind blanking were 10000 ouch.

but the weapon enchantments i was posting were for use in atash, you know darksun.

and in athas i guess its not to useful, but i dont know. it would certianlly take a unique campign to have that be anything other then the sickest thing out there.

Spell Stealing-

On a successful hit, this weapon steals one random prepared spell (arcane or divine) from the victim if they can cast spells. For a spontaneous caster it copies a random known spell and stealls one appropreate spell slot. It can steal a spell level up to one half the weilders character level, for example a level 13 character could steal a level 6 spell. The spell is stored indeffinitly, however it can only hold one spell at a time, the weilder atomatically knows which spell is in the weapon. The weilder can then procede to cast through him self or the weapon. This is usable once per day. Any caster who weilds this weapon can procede to learn the spell in the weapon. It takes one day and 100 gold pieces per spell level and destroys the spells energy, removing it from the weapon.
Major Transmutation: Caster Level 18: Craft Magical Arms and Armor, Steal Spell and Imbue Spell Like Ability: Price +5

[Lord Kain]

Greater Vampiric

A weapon with this ability drains life from the target. After a succussful hit with the weapon the target must make a fort save DC 16 or take an extra 1d4 points of damage which then heal the wielder of the weapon. This ability only works on living beings as undead have no life to give.
+3 Mod, (requirements caster 12th level, vampric touch)
This ability can only be applied to melee weapons

both of those are really good.

whats the differance from the greater vampric and the normal vamperic?

Vampric is a +2 mod but the save is a rather easy DC 14.

Lord Kain, quick question. What if you just had a more powerful mage enchant vampiric on the weapon? Wouldn't that increase the DC?

No, the weapon enchantment Vampiric, does not cast the spell vampiric touch. Even if it did, those types of DC's are usually set at the minimum for the spell.
