I was reviewing the dragon zombie and skeletal dragon templates from Draconomicon and to my amazing discovery not only could they be created via animate dead, but the undead dragons in question kept there base attack bonus.
So I stated out a 20HD zombie young zombie red dragon, with the bonus from my desecrate aura and corpsecrafter feat.
ZOMBIE YOUNG ADULT RED DRAGON
Huge Undead(Fire)
Hit Dice: 20d12+100 (+40 template bonus, +40 CorpseCrafter, +20 Deserate)(230 hp)
Initiative: -1
Speed: 40 ft, fly 150 ft (clumsy)
AC: 16 (-1 Dex, -2 size, +9 natural)
Attacks: Bite+31 melee*Like a zombie its limited to a single standard action a round
Full Attacks: Bite +31 melee, 2 claws +21 melee, 2 wings +21 melee, tail slap +21 melee
Damage: Bite 2d8+13, claw 2d6+7, wing 1d8+7, tail slap 2d6+19
Face/Reach: 10 ft by 20 ft / 10 ft
Special Attacks: Breath weapon, locate object, frightful presence
Special Qualities: Fire subtype, immunities, DR 5/slashing, blindsight, keen senses, SR 19, slow, undead traits, Immunity to Fire
Saves: Fort +13, Ref +12, Will +13
Abilities: Str 34, Dex 8, Con 21, Int --, Wis 10, Cha 8
Skills:
Feats: Toughness
SA–Breath Weapon (Su): Cone of fire, 50 feet long, every 1d4 rounds; damage 5d10, Reflex half DC 19.
Slow (Ex:) Like zombie, zombie dragons have poor refelxs and can perform only a single standard action or move action each round. *This wording allows for the spell haste to counter the ability giving the dragon its full attack.
SA–Frightful Presence (Ex): Dragons can unsettle foes with their mere presence. This ability takes effect automatically (radius 150 ft) whenever the dragon attacks, charges, or flies overhead. A potentially affected creature (one with less than 20 HD) that succeeds at a Will save (DC 19) remains immune to that dragon's frightful presence for one day. On a failure, creatures with 4 or fewer HD become panicked for 4d6 rounds and those with more than 5 HD become shaken for 4d6 rounds. Dragons ignore the frightful presence of other dragons.
SQ–Immunities (Ex): Immune to sleep, paralysis.
SQ–Blindsense (Ex): 60ft
SQ–Keen Senses (Ex): Dragons can see four times as well as humans in low-light conditions and twice as well in normal light. They also have darkvision (120 feet).
Think I'd cause a stir if I cast disguse undead on this (to make it look like a living dragon) then flew out of my pocketplane above that Oathbound mega city via the spell gate?
