Bast, Lady of the Faelines

History/Relationships
Bast the Goddess of Faelines, appears as a beautful Faeline woman though she can shift into any cat creature. She is the creator and protector of all Faeline kind. Her portfolio also includes protection (as a mother protects her children) and vengeance. Her favored weapon is that of her own two claws. Bast is a deity of extremes. She is a goddess of extremes granting great blessing to those she favors and destruction to any who irk her. In recent decades she has been coming under increasing worship by Weretigers as Lycanthropes have no parton deity. She has welcomed them into her worship with open arms as she loves all cats.

Dogma
To speak of dogma in connection with Bast is nearly a joke. She is a whimisical deity who demands nothing in the form of rigid adherence to principles of faith. Overall she promotes life and libirty. Things of beauty and the freedom from the opressive regulation. Above all others Bast hates none more then Blackhand as the god of tyrants embodies all she hates.

Clergy and Temples
Bast maintains temples in all Faeline communities. The temples have to set layout but almost all contain sky lights in order to let the rays of the sun shine through. Her clergy is charged to always keep a watchfull eye for evil like a cat waits for vermin. The majority of her clerics are female but there is nothing barring male Faelines from that role. They tend to where bright colors .

Now, at last, the masks had fallen away. The strings of the puppets had become visible, and the hands of the prime mover exposed. Most ironic of all was the last gift that Raziel had given me, more powerful than the sword that now held his soul, more acute even than the vision his sacrifice had accorded me - the first bitter taste of that terrible illusion: Hope.

I figured it might. Both of the core personality traits for Bast and Faelines seemed rather similar and compatible. The lack of a strict dogma for Bast is indeed an attractive side to the faith. I rally like the part about only caring if it's nice looking.

The whole creator and protector of Faeline's just made it an easier choice.

Feh, dogma. Heh.

I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?

However, in response to the goddes her self, I really like her. You pulled together all the right domains, portfolios, and personality quirks to make this a really fleshed out idea.

I changed a few things here and there though
