Firearms are a new invention coming into wider use on Terra Nara. Previously the instability of smoke powder, made them a hazard for anything other then explosives. However a hobgoblin alchemist working the the empire invented a new type of smokepowder. This smoke powder was inactive until exposed to an alchemical prepared metal filament. These metal filaments would be built on the inside of cannons and firearms. Until the smoke powder was poured into the gun or cannon it would not explode when exposed to fire.
Light Cannon
Requires 4 pounds of smokepowder (32 gp pershot)
A direct hit deals 6d10 points of damage to the target and half that in splash damage to all creatures within 5 feet of the target.
